Aces Aircraft Cleaning and Detailing
To the right is a picture of people boarding a Boeing 757-23A . You might think that there may be nothing a person cleaning an Airplane of this size and caliper could do to deter its flight mission.

Little did the 61 Passengers and 9 Crew Members know.... That they Would Never Return....
When they boarded Aero Peru Flight 603 around midnight on October 02, 1996.

Aces Aircraft Cleaning and Detailing Flight 603 took off from Lima runway 15 at 12:42 am destination Santiago.  Five minutes after take-off the crew reported problems with their instruments and requested an immediate return to the Airport.  The Aircraft climbed to FL 130 (13,000 ft.) before a return to Lima was initiated.  During the return the Captain's airspeed and altitude indications were so high the overspeed warning came on.  At the same time, the co-pilot's ASI was so low it triggered the "stick shaker".  All the while the Aircraft was descending and continued its decent until impacting the water with the left wing at about a 10 degree angle, at 260 knots.  The Aircraft pulled up to about 200 feet and crashed inverted.  The Aircraft was recovered from the Ocean and the preliminary investigation results showed the Aircraft's three static ports on the left side were still obstructed by tape applied before washing and polishing just prior to the accident flight.  All 70 People perished.
